Our standard

Helpful first. Testable by design.

Purpose

Every page must help a visitor complete or understand a task within the product’s stated scope. We do not publish unrelated, mass-produced pages merely to attract searches.

Sources and calculations

Calculations expose important assumptions and include worked examples that can be independently checked. When guidance depends on a law, technical standard or security recommendation, we prefer the responsible authority or original standard over summaries.

Product testing

Before launch and after material changes, we test the primary workflow, invalid inputs, representative edge cases, mobile overflow, navigation, theme behavior, downloadable output where applicable, console errors and production routing. A passing test does not eliminate every possible defect, so limitations and correction channels remain visible.

Corrections

Material errors should be corrected promptly in both the tool and its explanatory content. Review dates change only when a page or its underlying behavior has actually been reviewed.

Software-assisted work

Software-assisted drafting, research and testing may be used. Public claims, examples and interfaces remain subject to review against product behavior and cited sources; automation is not treated as evidence by itself.
